As a marriage family therapist I have a passion for helping individuals and families navigate the complex terrain of their relationships, offering a unique and insightful approach to therapy.
While working with individuals passing through different transitions and challenges of life, I help them build on their agency and internal resources by reconnecting to innate potential to grow.
The reflective space in the therapeutic room which is co-created by the client and myself has helped me grow not only as a therapist but also as an individual too. Through my clients’ experiences I learn about life, loss, trauma, resilience and so many other things.
My practice extends across borders, with clients hailing from the United States, the Middle East, and South Asia. Regardless of where you are in your journey, i am committed to helping you venture on a path of self-discovery and growth within yourself and in your relationship
My approach to therapy is a relational integrative model, drawing upon principles and techniques from various psychotherapeutic approaches rooted in psychodynamic tradition.
Over years of practice I have witnessed the intricate dynamics of relationships, where the unconscious forces shape our interactions and we co create the relational space we live in. The body carries the hidden emotional patterns, by unearthing these patterns and behaviours i facilitate clients towards self-awareness, insight, and meaningful change within self and relationships.
For any meaningful work to emerge the therapy space needs to be non judgemental yet challenging. It’s a place unlike any other where warmth, empathy are integral parts alongside challenge and care’frontation! (Confronting with care).
There are a few things I would like to bring up regarding pursuing therapy. One is to recognise mental health as an essential part of your health.
Secondly not to see therapy only for individuals suffering from severe mental health issues, but, it is a place for self-reflection and introspection that one can utilise at different stages and circumstances in life.
Lastly therapy works when you pursue it with HOW, that is, with Honesty, Openness and Willingness.
